Another Disability Judge Placed on Leave – WSJ.com.

The Social Security Administration has placed a disability law judge
on paid administrative leave while it looks into complaints about his
demeanor during hearings, the man’s lawyer said.

Administrative
law judge Gerald Krafsur, based on Kingsport, Tenn., was placed on leave
last week, and it is unclear if or when he will return to the post he
has held since 1991, his attorney Charlton DeVault said in an interview.
Mr. Krafsur is among the agency’s judges with the highest rate of
approving cases.

The Social Security Administration didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Sorry that this is subscriber only, but more news on SSA cracking down on high approval judges, but still nothing on those low approval judge outliers.
